Get to Know Me

I received my doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Colorado State University. I am also a Certificatied  Massage Therapist.  My additional training and certificates are in Dry Needling, a variety of continuing education courses, and physical therapy conferences. My hands-on techniques entail treating pain in both musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. My skill set expertise is applying exercise techniques, functional assessments, soft tissue and joint mobilizations. I enjoy learning about every individual and teaching each patient how to listen to what your body is telling you.

I am currently on staff at Denver Health, UC Health Steadman Hawkins Rehabilitation Sports Medicine Clinic. Working with a diverse group of medical professionals has shaped my knowledge and confidence to work independently.

When I am not at work, I enjoy being with my children, practicing yoga, gardening, being outdoors and delicious food. I have an Australian Shepherd puppy that I am training to be a therapy dog to help my patients and the community be happier. healthier individuals.
